Good morning buddies! Oh my goodness, the past two weeks have felt like a month I've been so busy! Can't wait for the weekend to hopefully sleep past 5am.
Old man winter snuck up on us this year! I drove to clinical Sunday at 530am and it was fifty degrees and raining. Two hours later it was twenties/snow and it has been a downward spiral every since. Single digits, snow blowing, schools cancelled/delayed. A mess I tell ya. I've been called in to work the past two days, and today is the first day my kids have gone to school on time in what seems like forever (which is two days). So far today I've not been called in to work, the kiddos are off to school and you would think that a woman who hasn't had a break in seven days straight would be headed straight back to bed... but I'm up, and I'm going to the gym. I'm either incredibly dedicated, or insane. Perhaps a touch of both.
I did miss my workout Monday due to being stuck at work almost all day. I'll squeeze in an extra gym trip over the weekend to make up for it. My intake has been on point though, despite my chaotic schedule, and my numbers are showing constant calorie deficits. I don't feel so wide, could be in my head but I'll take it regardless lol.
So today, my friends, I am exhausted but continuing on anyway. Goals for today are a solid workout, get caught up on laundry, a quick once over cleaning of the house, and to spend some quality time curled up in my recliner working on the new Dean Koontz novel "Ashley Bell" that I received for Christmas.
