Tired... 12 hrs of sanding floors today and 10 hrs yesterday and I am still not done. And this with a orbital sander because there is no way to use a drum sander on these old floors without a full ear out in this room too. Tomorrow should see the end of the sanding and Thursday I should succeed in getting the polyurethane done. I even got a short walk in to the corner hardware store to get more sandpaper. I am well beyond tired and my backside feels bruised and my hands/arms tortured from gripping the sander. My bed is the only thing I want.

We did floors years ago and used the drum sander for one room then hired someone to sand the rest of the house and stairs. We did 2 coats of stain then 3 coats of poly. It's brutal work. Hope you're feeling better tomorrow.

Sounds exhausting. Must be good for weight loss! Two days in a row is very tough, however.
