This body is stiff and sore from sitting on bleachers most of the weekend. I did about 10 minutes of exercises on the suspension straps to help my back this am. I'm glad I did. Looking forward to a workout in a few, hopefully it will loosen these muscles up. Am checking in while getting some dinner.
It was a good weekend with my DD and GD. Her basketball team came in 3rd so in all good. She was named most improved player by her coach as this is the last game this summer, so proud of her. Met some nice people, went to Outback for lunch yesterday so didn't eat any of the snacks I had brought along, so I have lots of fruit to eat this week! We skipped eating lunch today due to the game schedules so opted to come home and eat as they took off for home from there so an early dinner.
I drank too much beer last night chit chatting sitting outside with my DD last night. GD took a shower and went to bed, she was exhausted. She didn't try out my new trainer as she was too tired last night and we had to leave here by 8am this morning.

A very nice weekend. I just did the Bodyfit by Amy TRX 30 minute workout minus the last few minutes of planks, just did some regular front planks. My body feels better. I'm not built for bleachers all day! Now for some basic chores and early to bed.

I love the WOSS trainer. For $49.00 it is proving to be worth it. The TRX was way out of my budget being $200+ and it's the same concept and I don't like the strap adjustments on it, I use it at the gym. I was fine this am, so the workout really helped. I will do an upper body and arm workout in a few and maybe a kettle ball one I found on yourtube last night that looked good. The 15 yo GD challenge is on for the Granny 6 pack, different GD than the basket ball one. This one has regional cheer tournament next weekend, probably more bleachers. LOL Will be interesting my first one of these. She made the varsity cheer leading squad as a freshman.

Glad you are using your WOSS trainer- and learning you can also stretch out.
|
The stretches I've learned really help! After sitting at a desk all day I loved the feeling at the gym, then I watched a few videos and learned about so many things to do and the way it is set up there you simply can't as you cannot get vertically underneath it. The bracket they promised isn't here yet, I may call them tomorrow.
