I woke up Saturday morning with a sinus infection out of nowhere! It's crazy, usually I can feel them coming on or I can tell a situation (i.e. high dust or pollen) is going to give me problems. This was totally unexpected.
What's more, the medication is making me so loopy! Well I rested for three days, but I decided to hit the gym Monday. Not too bad, but afterwards my arms wanted to detach from my body and walk away. Today was leg day and it started out just fine. But I got super dizzy on the lying leg curl machine and had to call it quits. At least I got in half of my workout.
I'm feeling a little better each day...I should rest but I don't want to lose any progress. Now I know how some of you all who workout sick feel. Sorry if I was ever too hard on you :)

You should just rest until you are back at 100%, you may lose some muscle and stamina but you can get that back quickly.

Sinus stuff is awful - I have chronic sinus issues. Most days I can push through - hang in there and allow your body to guide your activity level.

Hope you feel better soon. There seems to be some kind of bug going around here, my wife got it.

So I rested Wednesday and felt really good this morning so I went to the gym. Today was ab day and I took it easier than normal, but I got my run and ab machines done. I'm so happy to have done something. Each day I feel better and better :)

Feel better, listen to your body. In our minds we are so focused on our goals, that when our body tells us to rest, we don't.
