Got in my exercise yesterday -- hubby got in part of his (walking). Amazing that as little as I'm doing, I am sore each day. Changes are coming.
I was exhausted yesterday - and went to bed early. Sleeping so soundly, I didn't hear my cell phone go off right next to my head. Hubby woke me up - my sister called to tell me we lost a dear friend in a fatal car accident yesterday. My mind couldn't process it then and I will be honest, I struggle with it today. Twi-light zone? Yeah. My mom and brother were detoured because of the accident. When I read about it on line, I didn't have a good feeling about it -- assumed it was my brother/mother. Called and they told me about the detour. Little did I know, I would know who it was. Dump truck driver lost control of his car and slammed into my friend's car. She died at the scene. Her son is getting married next month. She leaves behind a young daughter, and family and friends who are just lost in the hope that it is all someone's attempt at a nightmare, and we'll wake up to find it isn't true. My sister and our friend's sister have been best friends for years. Our friend is also a client with our agency.....Shock has set in. I work numbly.
