For those who have been following my journal entries you know I have been worried about my Dog Dutchess. Yesterday she started bleeding from her incision and last night they did an emergency spleen removal... During the night she passed away. I am so heartbroken. So much has happened in my life in the last few weeks that I don't know if I am going forward or backwards. My walk buddy is now gone but I will take walks in her memory.

I'm so sorry. Pets are family and it's very hard. Take the time to grieve, but take care of yourself and keep going. Do something nice for yourself.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it can be to loose a loved one like that. I lost all 3 of my cats over 15 months..

I'm so sorry. I still cry over my cat Millie every day and she's been gone 6 months now. There will be another buddy out there for you when you're ready. Probably when you least expect it. That's how I got my Daisy. She picked me out in the park and adopted me.

Sorry for your loss - I lost my Rusty in January of this year, at 15 years of age. I still miss him everyday. Just know that Dutchess is in a better place, with no pain or suffering.

Really sad to hear about Duchess. I know only too well what it's like to lose a much-loved pet. I so hope it's true that they are all waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge - waiting for their 'people' to arrive and then we'll cross the Rainbow Bridge together. The grief you feel cannot outweigh the joy you shared with her.
