My word of the day is Zucchini! The Zucchini Fairy dumped a wheel barrow load in my garden when I wasn't looking. But I'm not complaining - I have 101 recipes. Since tomorrow is Fathers Day I will even make DH some zucchini bread, then buy some freezer bags and get busy with the rest.
But first am going Mall Walking with a friend - exercise and window shopping together in the same place!
Note to slave drivers - I walked Thursday and Friday (even though it was hot) and am still experimenting with weight routines. Some of the first exercises I started are getting too easy!

Good morning Buffy...I was just recording a journal entry with some of the better parts of my day yesterday. Jealous of your zucchini...I love that stuff and could eat it everyday! I make a stuffed zucchini that is killer and not too bad on carbs either! Have a wonderful time at the mall...you are doing so fabulous!

You're so lucky! We're just barely beginning to harvest....first one was wormy, 2nd rotted on the vine, but the third one is wonderful, sitting in the kitchen ready to be eaten. Enjoy the mall and don't spend too much $$$ !

I made my favorite zucchini bread last week and froze a loaf of it. It has blueberries in it, absolutely YUMMY! Toss in some to your favorite recipe, bet you will like it!

Hello, Buffy! I am envious of your zucchini also. This is the first year we weren't able to plant our garden. I love zucchini and there are so many ways to use it. I also miss home grown tomatoes. I hate buying them at the grocery store. Have a great time window shopping and walking!

We don't do a garden anymore because we end up with way more than we can eat and give away combines. Reason for this is that DH never does anything small. So where I would put in one or two plants he has to go all out and put in way too many.
