I did some actual jogging yesterday, the first time for that in many years, usually I just walk at a very brisk pace and do cycling. My back help up pretty well while doing it, though at the end of the day it felt ready to give out. But I'll chalk that up as a success, especially since a year ago at this time I had a hard time walking.
As far as eating goes I'd jumped off the wagon and been run over by it several times. Finally, really, honest to goodness back on track and shooting for a few days of 1500 calories or below. Sugar is not my friend.

"jumped off the wagon and been run over by it several times" you are too funny Jim LOL It may be still too early for a jog for you, you don't want to mess up your knees and ankles and your back is already hurting. It's not worth it, bicycle is just as great.

Great job with the jogging - but do not stress your body. I use elliptical now and it is pain free, the treadmill makes my hips hurt.

Way to go on the progress - just listen to your body, it will tell you when you can do a bit more. I still use primarily the bike, because my knees will let me know if I over do it on the treadmill. Keep up the good work!
