Instantcrazy's Journal, 15 September 2014

I have learned that cheese does not like my body I will slowly begin giving that up. I also read the is a chemical in cheese that is addictive. That explains why it is so yummy. I've only read this once, but it must be true because someone put it on the Internet right? ;)

I had planned to do a ton of cooking and an experiment with black bean brownies with a caramel sauce made from dates yesterday but it feels like I'm coming down with a cold and just wasn't feeling up to it.

My girlfriend and I have been working on our relationship. I've been staying there the last couple nights so hopefully this means we are back together. I no we will have a lot of issues to deal with but I love her very much and would rather work out issues with her then start over with anyone else.

Take it slow instantcrazy. Do lots of talking about things that really matter to both of you and to each of you individually. I've slowly decreased my consumption of cheese due to the high fat, too much makes my stomach hurt.

Thanks for the advice! I definitely want to work it out. I learned when I don't eat cheese I'm bit constipated. I like that.

It's true though - cheese being addictive. It has cheese in it. :)

Ugh phone! Not constipated not bit. Geesh phone. I love cheese so it will be a challenge but in the long run my body will be happier.

I hope your relationship works out for you. We all go through bumpy spots, sometimes it makes the relationship even better. Be positive, that will attract positive energy! I had backed off cheese for awhile because of the high fat content. I do love cheddar cheese on my omelets and egg scrambles, so I am very careful to measure it out exactly to keep it in my food plan. Don't want to give up everything I love or this plan won't work for me. I did a lot with black beans a while back when I was experimenting with subs on recipes. Good luck!

Thanks guys you are all cracking me up! Nm, you could be on to something there... You should get a million dollar grant to post your findings on the internet. Socolova I'm just south of you in corn and soy country. I do love corn and soy come to think of it. I also love cheese on cornK and soy. Lol

Kattay did you use black beans to replace cheese? I want to experiment with some vegan cheeses. Miyoko Shinner has a vegan cookbook called artisanal cheeses I believe, I want to play around with those recipes. As for the relationships I've been picturing a bottle of Italian dressing where the oil and vinegar separate and all the good stuff settles in the bottom and you have to shake it up to make it all cohesive and delicious again. I'm not saying I would want to shake it up all the time but hopefully this one shake last for a while.

I really like most beans, black beans not so much. I tend to substitute adzuki beans (often marketed as small red beans they have little white spots on them). Not for cheese but a sub for meat.

HaHa! No, I subbed black bean for flours! Love real cheese too much to try and sub it. However, if you find a good vegan sub for cheese, please let me know! I am open to try something new. I would try vegan cheese out of curiosity!
