Hubby and I are overdue for a trip away....this month alone I will be traveling to Myrtle Beach and also to Ohio. Crazy!!!
So I got cocky and bragged that this lastest church episode did not cause me to emotionally eat. HAH! Never tempt the devil...cause that's just what I did last night, and I counter balanced that with a 30 minute Pilates workout this morning. Fortunately some moves are improving. The Rollover position took me FOREVER to get in the position and hold it. The second time I had improved. Still focusing on my abs and trying to get them stronger. Infection has nearly gone away, but I'm not jumping right back into cardio (like dance/elliptical) yet, want to make sure it's gone forever! But Pilates is a pretty heavy duty workout that will cause cardio to occur!! Or maybe I'm not doing it right. :)

I'm certainly not an expert but... while Pilates is great for stretching, toning, and lengthening muscles and strengthening your core, I doubt it raises your heart rate enough to qualify as cardio. For that, you'll have to get back on the elliptical.
