Hey FS,

My buddies, random users who see this entry pop up in their news feed....Kudos to you all on taking a step in the right direction, taking control of your physical state. Its not an easy thing, choosing the healthy lifestyle (especially with society glamorizing outrageous food creations while simultaneously condemning the obesity that comes along with outrageous eating habits)....but when you start down that path, it does become easier over time. Its a matter of recalibrating, retraining and reshaping your views.

While I see everyone on here trying their hardest, offering support and guidance to other users, I'm also seeing a lot of users becoming disheartened and overwhelmed. This seems to come from either the sheer amount of lifestyle change they're trying to undertake in one swoop, or by factors completely outside the realm of dieting that have managed to stress them out to the point of derailing the changes they're trying to make....too many hours at work leaving no energy to try and hit the gym, the loss of a loved one making healthier eating seem pointless in the face of grief....the list goes on and on.

That's the one thing I wish people would focus a little more on in the course of their lives. Taking a small break from everything. Work, family, stress in general.....I know its not easy to do, especially with how much is expected of people today. Work as hard and as long as you can in the hopes of potentially having some time in your 'golden years' to relax and retire. People taking more classes in college in the hopes of getting a better job to help pay for their school debts, its an endless cycle. Can't get the degree without funds, can't get funds without a good job, can't get a good job with the degree (in most cases, not all).

While physical health is surely important, please do not discount your mental well being! Take a few moments to do something for yourself, something to unwind, decompress, remind yourself that you have so much potential, and that you have done amazing things in your lifetime.
