So...my workout will have to be tonight. I have to get it done tonight. My anxiety must be pretty high because this morning, while I was oil pulling and such, I was cleaning up like a mad woman. Usually, I only go into those fits when my anxiety goes up. So yeah...and I am supposed to do Yoga X and there is no way I can get it done and be on time to pick up my mom and go to my part time job. So yeah...this time my sister said she would do it with me because she likes doing yoga. I am also really excited and totally support her next decisions.

She told me she is contemplating doing Jillian Michael's 30 day shred AND joining this absolutely wonderful site!! I am pretty excited about it since she needs a lot of support. I just want her to be confident and love herself. So since I have that workout, I am going to encourage her to get it done. I even went as far as saying that if she did it in the evening and it would help motivate her, I will do it with her. No, I am not giving up on the P90X. I am still going to be doing that just in the morning lol! Man...that will be killer. She is worth it though. :)

Daily Summary
*Oil Pulling: So my mom started oil pulling yesterday. She told me she had a hard time going to the full 20 minutes but forced herself to. When she brushed her teeth though I had to laugh because she told me that her toothpaste combined with the taste of the coconut oil did not mix well and left a funky taste in her mouth lol! She did remark on how her teeth felt really clean still and it was like 3 pm.

*P90X: I find myself not enjoying the Yoga X workout as much as the others. Not too sure why since I absolutely love Yoga. I think it more has to do with the fact that its an hour and a half long and some of the poses he goes through are extremely difficult for me. I pushed through it though and I am glad I did.

*Steps Taken (Goal-5000): 8574

*# Cups of Water (Goal-8 cups): 11

*Record Everything you Eat:

*Walk 1 mile/day: 3.52 mi

*Avoid High Calorie treats/snacks: FAILED!! The Kit Kat was too hard to pass up! :p

*No Beer: HAHA! I don't drink alcohol at all. :)

so your posts on oil pulling have always caught my eye and ive read about it and I think I could do it BUT I have to get three kids out the door by 630 every morning. I already get up at 5. and im exhausted at night. how do you make the time for 20 minutes every day? I surely couldn't in the morning....

Well, if you take a shower in the mornings, you can oil pull there...just make sure you spit into a garbage lol! For me personally, I usually oil pull while I am preparing for my usual morning routine after I have dropped my oldest off at school. Preparing is usually figuring out breakfast, getting my workout DVD ready, planning out everything that needs to be done during the day and updating various sites I frequent. It was really hard at first but now it's like a second nature. :)

I think 20 minutes is too long. I recommend doing a bit more research (unless you already have, sorry). What I read is something more like 10-15 minutes at the most. But it's good stuff!! Nice to read about someone else's results.

The research I did said to do it for 20 minutes. It works for me. :)
