Are you recording your intake on FS? The numbers I see are crazy low. If you're just starting out walking alone should be suffice as you build up that cardiovascular stamina. Diet is more important than exercise when it comes to losing the pounds. Keep your chin up, it's a slow process but you will get where you're going! :-)

I hate to sound like a broken record…but, this too shall pass! A pound is actually a lot of weight to lose. Look at pound box of butter and realize, you removed that from your body! Weight loss is never consistent. One week 3 pounds, the next , flat. Congrats on your success! Be kind to yourself.

Like Yolanda said, I hope you are eating more than what you are recording on here. You should be eating at LEAST your BMR calories plus a few more. You can find BMR calculators online but I would encourage you to continue reading for a better suggestion. When you eat super low calories (with carbs or not) your body will make adjustments to keep you from dying from starvation. One of the major adjustments it will make is slowing your metabolism. Your body will also become more efficient in using calories if it does not have enough to use. This means that the treadmill workout you did at the beginning of your diet may have used 200 calories for 30 minutes. Now, with a damaged metabolism, the same workout is only burning 150 calories. See where I am going with this? You should try to eat to a specific calorie deficit each day rather than a set number of calories. My suggestion would be to enter all of your food and exercise on fat secret. Then try and hit -1000 calories each day. If you had 2800 calories in exercise for the day, then try and eat 1800 calories that day. Every day will be different depending on how much you exercise. Just remember, that less food is NOT better, especially if you exercise. Then, this is the part you will like. Switch it up every now and again to keep your metabolism honest. Maybe once day a week you maintain a -200 calorie deficit. Then a couple days a month, treat yourself, and eat to your maintenance calories. Maintenance is a zero calorie deficit. You eat the same calories that you use. If you ruin your metabolism weight loss will be close to impossible and you will have to do a reverse diet to fix it which takes a very long time. Good luck. Low carb will “melt” the fat right off your booty if you do it right! Good luck. Feel free to ask any questions.

I don't know how long it's been since you started your diet and exercise program, but it takes a bit for your body to adjust to the change. It can be frustrating when the scale doesn't move like we think it should but don't let that get you down or interrupt what you're doing, just keep at it. It's a journey and there are hills and valleys, but as long as you're eating less calories than you're burning, overall it's downhill as far as the scale is concerned. And there's nothing wrong at all with upping your exercise and doing more than just walking. You can do it!
