First day of spring is finally here! It's supposed to get to 60 here today too, but then be cold and possibly snowy this weekend and through next week. Sigh. I guess I'll have to be happy with the nice day we have today.

We're doing our office lunch out today. The other ladies wanted to try to Thai place, so we'll see how that goes. I'm a little worried because I've never had Thai food before, but I'm sure there will be something I like. And if I don't like it at least I can say I tried it. I'm looking forward to going to lunch though, it's always nice to get some time outside of work to laugh with the other ladies.

After work I'm going to try my couch to 5K. I did a workout last night at home with the inserts in my shoes and I didn't feel too bad, but it wasn't as high impact as running. If it hurts to run I'll just walk it, it might take me longer, but I'm going to soak up the sunshine while we have it. I read some articles on running too and I'm going to try to pay attention to my posture and how my feet are hitting the ground when I'm running.

My hubby and I are getting the kids bikes for Easter and he was showing me the types that the kids want last night. We're going to get ourselves bikes too, but we're going to check the pawn shop. I grew up in the country so we rode our bikes on gravel roads, so it will be a whole new adventure to learn to ride a bike in town, with curbs, and cars, and other people. That adventure won't start until after Easter and hopefully by then the weather will be nice.

Well enough of my daydreaming, I'd better get to work. Happy Thursday!

I am glad you are having a good week. Good luck with the bike search. A good bike can last a long time. I still have the mountain bike I bought in college 14 years ago now and it is still in good condition.

Ended up having what they called snow garden. It was chicken with a white gravy like sauce and tons of veggies with a cup of rice. I have no idea how many calories that was, but probably too many. It was really good and I couldn't eat it all, I left about half the rice and maybe 1/3 of the other food. The place was definitely a diamond in the ruff. :)

Love thai food! We ususally have pad thai, cashew chicken, rice, mango salad and lemongrass soup. Of course it's all high calorie, high sodium, but very tasty!!!

Just go to show, never judge the book by the cover.
