Good morning!

This is probably my most sleepy morning in a LONG time.

So tired. Still, I'm up and facing the day.

I like getting up when Wife gets up, so we get to enjoy each other's company a little in the morning.

Also, it gives me a day where I can get to move around a little more than I would otherwise, and this is important to me.

...

My fluctuating weight is coming down a bit. I'm at 85.5 today, in comparison to 87.2 yesterday.

That's not the only good news about the weight though.

I might be heavier than I like, but it also seems that my muscle mass is coming back up, while the fluid is coming down. Also, the fat percentage is slowly coming down as well. It's at 12% today. Still high in general, but coming down.

...

Yesterday, I had 3300 calories. I burned 3200. Since I am in maintenance mode, with a little overhead for muscle growth, it's a good place to be. It still freaks me out to eat this much, but it's needed and I understand that.

I don't want to gain further weight, but I do want to rebuild the muscle lost from not working out after the surgery.

...

I went for week three, day one of my muscle rebuild yesterday.

It's interesting how fast I progress.

For those just catching up, the plan is simple. I used to do six reps at various weight in various exercises.

I now use six weeks getting back on track.

FULL weight on every exercise. First week, one rep. Second week, two reps, etc. Workouts Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

So, yesterday was day one of week three. I did it all, and did well. What I did yesterday, there is NO chance I could have done even a week ago. But it seems that I just push forward this way, nice and slow. It's great!

I really feel that I am getting back on track. I feel that my muscles are waking up.

I can tell in my weigh-in numbers too. The muscle mass is increasing. Slowly, but increasing.

It's a great feeling.

...

I made it on all my numbers yesterday. I made the macros fit 100%.

I found a fun and very surprising source of fiber! The sugar free and low fat ice cream that I like and often buy is LOADED with fiber! Also, it's low on calories, low on carbs and fat. It's all good. This is getting to be the perfect dessert for me. :)

It's fun when you discover these things. The whole "If It Fits Your Macros"-approach is so great. I like it a lot.

I really feel so much freedom in my eating, something that has been generally hard to get to. This way, I feel that I can focus on other things. I have counted calories for so long time, it's absolutely no problem keeping up with the macros.

When there is something food related that I really want, but "really shouldn't", I can simply change things around and make room for it, in an easy way that makes it NOT interfere with my diet and weight maintenance.

Since weight maintenance is for life, it's nice to know that there are approaches that makes ALL foods okay, as long as I play my cards right.

...

So, tomorrow is the heard shock day. This week is mentally straining like crazy.

I have the day today to just survive. Then the shock tomorrow. Then scary meetings at work Thursday. Friday I have a meeting with my doctor, where we're gonna talk heart, stress, etc.

I am not sure what I am hoping to hear from him. I hope to get some help. I hope to get probably some time to mentally recover from all this, but on the other hand I want to get back on the horse. I just don't feel that I'm even remotely close to the horse. Still, I'll find the horse sooner or later and get back on it. :)

...

So, today's tasks:
- Put movies on my tablet. Wife won't be with me tomorrow, so I need entertainment. After they shock me, I have to stay for 6 hours for them to monitor my heart. The most boring thing EVER. I will most likely be sitting in a waiting room with a heart monitor. I need movies, movies, movies. LOL.
- Wife!
- Morning coffee! I need it badly!

Have a great day! Life is good!

As much as I can, Bill. It's hard, when the head insists on NOT focusing. :/ I'm doing okay though, all considered.
