The scale monster is a big dummy and it does lie. You got this!! Have a great week. BTW, I am in Houston this week :( I hate this town... I think my husband and I are going to San Antonio for the weekend. I am dreading it. He is going to want mexican food and I will also want mexican food. I am already sure I am going to have a difficult weekend :)

haha, thanks for the encouragement! Now that you mention it, I miss Mexican food so badly! The chips are what kills me. I love chips and salsa and queso so darn much but they are a huge no-no. Surprisingly, there are several low carb options for entrees if you like fajitas, pork with green sauce or steak ranchero. Beans and rice are bad though. Now I'm starving. LOL I don’t miss Houston. I grew up there, out near Katy. My parents live on Lake Conroe now so we are down there from time to time. Have a great day!

I am on board, the scale has to move this week for me too. Good luck everyone.

I usually stick to fajitas if I go to mexican (which we do probably every other week). Fatijas are good because they usually come with guacamole and sour cream, which is perfect for LCHF. But, you're right ... it's awfully hard to avoid the chips. It must be done (sadly).

Thats it, I'm making mexican stuffed bell peppers tonight. All this mexican food talk has pushed me over the edge!

they say those occasional binges shocks the body and reignites weight loss - here's hoping 'they' are right :-)

Thanks FullaBella. That's what I am using as my *excuse* to over eat last weekend. I hope your right about "they"! :) I have a no-fail attitude this week. I hope it's contagious!

Let's do this FS Warriors. Let's kick butt. I haven't made them myself but some people swear by zucchini or kale chips.

I love love love fajitas.... However, I have learned that apparently so places marinate their fajitas in orange juice or add something that is high in carbs.... Therefore, I find mexican very difficult these days. In the past (when I was ignorant) I would go to mexican places with no guilt or difficulties at all. I miss ignorance.... But the chips - they are killer. I am thinking I may stuff some pork rinds in a bag and take them for the salsa :) People may look at me strange but - I will be doing what I need to do for me.... If I have a few shots of tequilla before I go eat - I wont even notice. Yes - I have tequilla on the brain. Happy Monday!!

hmmm - zucchini might be good. I just purchased some kale chips at lunch. I tried one and almost gagged. I hope this is just an awful brand.

I eat kale almost everyday for lunch in a salad. I dont really like it, but I know its good for me. Zucchini is yummy, one time I roasted them way too long and they were chip like. Wasnt too bad now that I think about it. Accidential chips! :) If I really need a chip fix I always reach for the pork rinds. I have three diferent flavors at home right now!

LOL at the kale chips. Your reaction is what I imagine mine would be. Just sounds gross. I’m actually surprised that I can eat it raw. It has to be mixed with other greens and coated with full fat dressing!!! OMG, I totally forgot about tequila shots being carb friendly! Last time I drank I had vodka and water with lemon. After the first one, the rest taste like lemonade! LOL

Oh well!! At least you admitted that you ate too much!! That in itself is a good thing!! Now, just get to work and get that weight off!! It wasn't much of a gain, but that should help get you going again! I just had my little pound and a half hiccup, and am now losing again! Keep up the great work!! Now I'm going to have to go get some to kill ya and make some!!
