Day 5 of my 5-day cleanse which will end early for me as we have a 50th birthday party to go to tonight. Dinner, dancing & going back in time as we're to dress from the 60s, 70s or 80s. DH & I are going as hippies:). It will start off what should be a good weekend as we have the party tonight & a wedding Sunday afternoon -- just enough socializing for me. DH is taking his Mom to meet his sister & attend her son's football game for the day on Saturday, so I'll get some "me" time -- another thing I missed while away. I think he's finally getting it -- my need for not over socializing.
Then starting tomorrow, I'll continue building my healthy eating & living road by eating gluten, lactose & sugar aware focusing on vegetables, quality protein and some fruit.
Tennis this morning & then some errands this afternoon before party time. But before I play, I'll pray --
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
And throughout this one day and each one meal, moment, bite & emotion, I'll pray, breathe, journal & express my way. I'm so very grateful for each of you, my family & IRL friends, and having the health & wealth to live this life I love. xoxox
