I woke up happy. I wake up every morning happy. It doesn't make any sense because I have some pretty nasty stressors in my life. But, I'm not going to argue with the fact. I'm HAPPY.

Due to my restricted movement capabilities, I've started doing Isometric exercises. I know they're working because my butt and thighs are sore. LOL. I read that you shouldn't do them if you have high blood pressure. Thankfully, that's the one issue I don't suffer from.

If I can build up a little muscle mass, it might boost my metabolism and help support my frame for more active exercise. I'm still walking in 10 minute intervals, three times a day. My hips and knees won't handle more than 10 minutes at a time without going into extreme pain mode. I figure, just like the weight loss, slow and steady will get me there.

Waking up Happy is the most any person should wish for. I wake up happy most days, even if a bit sleepy sometimes. lol. Just keep working one day at a time and you'll get there! You can do it!

Jo, you are a treasure. Being happy isn't about our circumstances it is about our state of mind. And your outlook, your state of mind are wonderful. Thanks for always being so upbeat, and for always seeing the silver lining. As for the exercise, I think your plan is simply super. You do what yo can, and when you can do more, that is what you do. Sounds pert near perfect to me! Have a great day!

I have no idea. That's the whole point. LOL. I think it's what I'm eating. I was never particularly UNhappy, but I felt so ill and dense all the time. Now that I'm eating properly, I no longer feel horrid. I wake up feeling awake. I feel good. I feel like I have so much to look forward to. The problems are still there, including the pain, but somehow they don't have the same hold on me as they used to.
