Had a great time in NYC yesterday -- Jimmy Fallon is hilarious & the taping of his show was very relaxed and fun! Plus, being with my SIL , niece & my DS was the best! A great day!
But, not a great night as sleep was once again evasive, even though I was exhausted from the day. Luckily today, on my agenda, is only tennis this morning & a haircut and color this afternoon. So, I'll fit in a nap & get to bed early. Just hoping I can get revved up for tennis practice this morning. My tennis team is playing in our district (local) tournament this weekend & my first match is tomo at 8:30 am, so today is my last practice beforehand & I'd like to make it a good one. Wish me luck!
But, before I get my butt off to tennis, I'll pray --
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
And throughout this one day & each one meal, moment, bite & emotion, I'll pray, breathe, journal & express being grateful for a wonderful day yesterday, all of you my FS friends, my family & other friends, and this life I love. I'm running a bit late but will check journals later today & catch up on what I missed yesterday. xoxoxo
