Sharing some adventure-time! Here's a few pics from my ride at Redwood Regional park in the oakland Hills. The pics, of course, do not do this place justice.

These are some of the smaller redwoods around here. I'll be seeing the real-deal thousand year old redwoods this friday!

Ahhh, so gorgeous! I especially like the one with your bike against the fence on the road. Great perspective! Thanks for sharing. :D

Yep, the same stream that goes along the valley floor there in which the first 4 pics are along :) No photo classes! just natural skill ;D What I didn't show was my wicked sunburn from riding up and along the eastern ridge where the last pic was taken. It was noon and in the 90s at the time. And my dumbass broke my cardinal rule of staying covered while biking. D'oh! lol

Thanks for sharing your photos. It looks like a fun place to ride. I'm looking forward to seeing the photos from the old growth redwoods. Have fun!

Great photos! Thanks for sharing. You are making me want to take a vacation up north again. I love the redwoods. I especially enjoy Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Forests. Enjoy your biking and don't forget to cover up next time. :)

Beautiful pictures. Are you on Strava. I was in South Lake Tahoe last month for AMBBR, but I had to fly there. Do you live in the Redwoods area? Do you ride MTB, roadie or cyclocross?

Hopefully seeing this kind of thing encourages you to check out your local parks if you already don't :D. Kim, I can't wait to bike in those areas! I was thinking about doing a quick overnighter in Yosemite in the next month or so too >=). Helewis, I'm not sure what Strava is, but I'll check it out. I live in the SF bay area just south of Napa. But I'm literally all over the bay area haha. I'm more of an XC MTBer :)

Beautiful scenary. Just beautiful. Strava is a tracking and analysis GPS tool. You can use it with your iPhone (if you have one). I use mine with my Garmin Edge.
