Hello. I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. My weight has been up and down, with my highest weight at 278 lbs back in 2003. I lost 70 lbs. of that, but regained all but seven pounds over the next six years. In 2009, I once again began a weight loss plan and lost 75 lbs. Due to a slip up period on my diet and a degenerative condition in my back, compounded by a recent injury, that has left me in varying levels of constant pain, I regained 40 lbs early this year. I am back on track now and am losing weight again. My progress is slow now that my activity level is limited by my pain level. I hope that this community can help me to persevere and achieve my goal of a healthy weight and life.
I finally had surgery on my back last fall and am doing quite well. No more everyday meds! As of yesterday, I am down a total of 40lbs from my starting weight and moving steadily towards my goal.
