While my overall weight loss goal is 159 lbs, I was thinking about making some mini goals. 100 lbs to me very is daunting. If I take it maybe 10 lbs at time or maybe shoot to get under 200 lbs I think mentally that will be a little easier to work with.
I have a few t-shirts that fit me when I weighed 233 lbs (I remember stepping on the scale the day they fit.)
215 is the lowest I got to maybe 3 years ago before I gave up and gained all my weight back.
Of course getting to 199 will be awesome...finally out of the 200s
I'll focus on those 3 weight goals for now because they hold some kind of significance to me. 233, 215 and 199.

I think that is an excellent idea! Start with something small and work your way up. :D But be specific with your goals, it will help keep you accountable. When do you want to lose the first 10; have you set a date?

That's a good idea too. I'm shooting for 199 by the end of the year.

I agree completely. I know it's a mental game but I changed my goal weight too after a while because 1) my bigger goal is to eat right one day, one bite at a time and 2) I really got tired of the yellow line on the weight graph.

Good plan! Small goals are attainable goals. Huge goals are mountains, small goals are hills. Anyone can climb a wee hill. I weigh myself daily to stay accountable -- sure, it's disappointing when I gain a bit, but it drives me to push harder to lose. We deserve to do the best for ourselves. We can do this!!!

That is a great idea!! Those smaller goals sometimes help keep you going mentally. You can do this!!
