I'm on the edge! I'm almost there. The scale taunted me this morning by telling me I weigh 150.0. It refused to tell me anything else. I stepped on the bugger at least 10 times willing it to go just .1 lbs lower and it wouldn't. But I'm happy! I'm on the edge! If I got a haircut today I could be in the 140's! Too bad I want to grow my hair out again for the summer so it can go back into pony tails and sloppy buns. By friday I will weigh 140 something.

I got an interesting workout in yesterday. Technically I was only in the barn for 45 minutes last night so I had to make up the activity somewhere and I was home with just me and little man so... we had little man aerobics. He was super fussy after a day at grandma's and being pulled out of his normal routine anyways so there was no way we were doing anything that wasn't 100% him. Then.. I got him to bed and? I wanted to watch Hell's Kitchen. So? No eliptical. I think I made up for most of it lifting handweights and jogging in place during the show though. Before the show I was throwing little man in the air. Even though it wasn't a serious get my sweat on kinda workout it did burn something. I miss getting on a machine and mindlessly pushing myself until I can't feel my legs.

So far so good! No cursing, no oreos, no soda, and I sorta worked out... kinda. Ok not really but I tried! I will do better tonight.

Today my motivation is eliminating puddle butt. You know how you can look at your thighs or your butt and think ok not too bad. I'm doin alright. Then you sit down and look at your lap and suddenly your thighs and your butt seem 10 times wider than they were before?!?! Yeah that! I don't want that anymore. It's allowed to get 1.5 times bigger but that's it! I need to fix this before lawn chair season comes and I feel an overwhelming urge to throw something over my lap to hide my extremely wide base.

ya cause we all know what it feels like when you stand up and you have chair imprints stuck to it so everyone is really looking at it. I have that problem more with my thighs then my butt.

Soooo close! I got puddle butt too! PS... I ate an oreo yesterday... :-( but it was better that the last few oreo stuff choc chip cookie sitting on the counter!

I, too, suffer from puddle butt. SUCKS... My advice: cut the soda and cookies, but keep the cursing. Add to the cursing a punching bag with a picture of someone that makes you truly mad (Kim Jong Un, perhaps? or a Kardashian), and GO TO EFFING TOWN on them!!! Do not fool yourself that you didn't burn calories. Maybe not like you wanted to, but sharing the time with your little one is SO good for your health, too! <3

That 150 is a taunter... It took me weeks to convince my body that it really could survive without that extra pound or 2. You are doing awesome!

150 that is awesome! Puddle butt, that is funny, my puddle butt has gotten better with all the exercise. I have this saddlebag thing right under my butt cheeks I want to suck out with my vaccuum (and yes it's dipply). I like to wear short shorts around the yard in the summer and I don't want that to be visible this summer! The fronts of my thighs are getting better so I believe there is hope for the backs. I'm predicting a 148 reading for you this weekend!

Are there people that don't get puddle butt? I'm going to convince myself the answer is no so I feel better about it... lol. So close to 140's, yayy!!!

Hmm.. I thought there were people that didn't get puddle butt. Now I'm kinda thinking it's a common thing. Maybe if I wasn't so obsessed with my own puddle butt I would have noticed other peoples puddle butt by now.

LOL....it is a good thing that we are so obsessed with our own puddle butts that we don't notice others....maybe it can ease our minds that no one is really noticing ours...hahaha. Great way to get a work out in! You are almost to the 140's!!! Awesome job!

I've always called mine Bertha butt..no offense to any one..but now I have NO butt..so I always have to have a cushion or it hurts..and I have at least 15 more to go..If I could just put my belly on my butt I would look great...LOL...:O)

puddle butt, puddle GUT...lmao! it's not nearly as bad as it used to be 35 lbs ago, my gut used to sit on my thighs, and now I can actually SEE my thighs (not that I really want to, mind you - there's still enough there for 3 legs haha) and when I look down when I'm sitting, I don't see my belly below my boobs - just goes straight to lap...and 150 is a dream for me, but at 55 years of age I have made peace with the fact that I will never be a size 4, or 6 or 8...a size 10 might be in my future, since I actually got into a pair of size 12 jeans the other day, when I was wearing an 18-20 before I started this journey...so, DFW, Here's looking to the 140's!! you can do it!

I absolutely hate puddle butt!! Your journals always make me smile, so thank you for that. :) I was told recently by my hubby that I now have a boney butt, but I don't think so. I still spread out when I sit, but I am working on it. 140's here you come!!
