Thank you to my FS Buddies that stopped by yesterday. I responded today!

I did it... My first in-person WW Meeting. I'm so proud of myself... Next weigh in is next Thursday.

1 lb loss today, probably because I didn't eat healthy yesterday, so I'm planning on it to bounce back up tomorrow. That's OK, it will go drop back down again! :)

Annual well woman exam went good. I just hate those darn things, but I lost my Momma when she was 38 yrs old to cancer. She never got sick so she never went to the doctor for 'anything' (except giving birth) until it was too late (7 months from diagnoses until she went to heaven to be with God). I've taught my kids about preventive health care and to listen to their bodies.

I got so busy yesterday getting ready for my city trips that I forgot to eat. Then I was so ravenous while on my way home that I stopped at the last place before nowhere land, Starbucks, and got a skinny mocha and low fat coffee cake (allowed on WW). This going without eating stuff is something that I have to struggle with and work on everyday. I've been doing it for years (but I don't lose weight anymore from doing it). When it does happen, this is how it goes: I'm not hungry so I don't eat, then I suddenly become very hungry late in the day. Today I was good to myself, I ignored all the guilty feelings when I ate, and got all of my WW Points in like I should and I feel pretty darn good!

I love my CPAP. I woke up at 5:30am without an alarm clock. I'm like a child at Christmas. I can't wait to go to sleep so I can wake up feeling good the next day! It's my present under the tree, everyday... LOL!

Happy Healthy Losses to you all!

PS My Ogre (DH) told me that I still snore and then said 'Fooled You'! He thought he was so funny. Crazy guy. :)

So pleased the cpap is lowing you to have a good nights sleep. I have read somewhere, that if you don't get a good nights sleep, you gain weight.... Not sure how that works... Hopefully it's true and works the other way :-)

I looked back at your profile Moondove... And was so touched, by the dreams you have, of what you want to do again. you CAN do this... You are taking very positive steps. I think you realise, that loosing weight and staying there is about a complete "lifestyle" change., not a quick fix. I can relate to the yo yo diet thing.... I did that for years.... I have now lost the weight and kept it off for a year... And I have no intention of putting it back on. I still weigh regularly, but am not so obsessive as I was wheni was loosing weight. I am enjoying being able to be more active, and the plane seat (or any seat/chair) was a big one for me. Keep at it xx

Getting that good air flow at nights is essential! Glad you are feeling the benefits! And, yes, I heard the same thing about sleep is also necessary for weight loss!

Hey Sk1nny, Yes, it is true that if we don't get a good night's sleep (continually), our body's hormones become out of whack! Good for you about being at your target weight and maintaining! :) Yes, I can't wait til I get to say, it's been a year and I'm still maintaining and feeling great!

Good Afternoon Bren, Thank you, I am feeling super, except for the hives, darn it! LOL! I'm still finding my way on the WW Online. Also bought a couple of 'Crock Pot' recipe books; 1 low fat, 1 diabetic. Lot's of yummy stuff in them. I am sleeping so good, not waking up over and over like I used to do, and I am DREAMING and can remember my dreams, which is a very good sign that I am experiencing much needed REM Sleep cycling. I'm also able to THINK so much clearly, without YAWNING too! Yay!!! I'm eating breakfast. I have learned that egg whites are so much better for WW. PS I can feel that 'Spring in my Step' ! :) Hugs back to you...

Hi Buffy, Isn't it the truth that we seem to always putting others that we love before ourselves??? I't hard to switch the role, but I'm working on it each day with baby steps!
