I'm down another pound today, which is good news. It's slow but steady progress at this point and I'm happy to see new, lower numbers on the scale.
I live in a small town with pretty much nowhere to shop for clothes except Walmart. This past weekend we travelled to a city and I went shopping there with my hubby. I bought several new pairs of pants (jeans and dress pants) and some nice shirts for work. It was great to buy clothes that fit my body and complement my figure rather than clothes that disguise my weight and try to hide my body. Definitely a switch in the way I was thinking about my clothes! I think that everything I bought was a size smaller than I initially thought it would be, which was definitely a pleasant surprise!
Although the shopping here leaves much to be desired, I love my 15-20 minute walk to work every day. That's a plus for small town life. Am working on the daily lifestyle choices that will make a big difference down the road. :)
