Kick-butt Zumba class this morning; Gina is the most awesome instructor! I sweat up a storm, smiling the whole time. :oD I agreed to meet my gym buddies for the CXWORX class tomorrow morning before my Silver Sneakers class (again!); it's great to have work-out pals

I just entered this recipe of a Sweet Potatoe Shepherd's Pie into my cookbook; sounds really delicious; now I just need the energy to get up and make it, lol. I did some shopping after class, as well as a little housework. Oh yeah, gotta get the cup of tea I made!

It's great to have the computer back and working well. It's also great to sit here looking out at the sunshine on the trees, with the black-capped chickadees, spotted towhees, dark-eyed junkos, an occasional acorn woodpecker or squirrel coming to snack on the sunflower seeds and old Grapenuts on the deck (they only eat the Grapenuts when the seeds are all gone. Keeps Beau from napping too much; he loves watching his buddies come & visit.

Got an e-mail from a plastic surgery place I visited for an estimate years ago for a lift and tuck (never did it); they have a new Coolsculpting non-surgical body-sculpting technique they're selling now. They're having a get-together at their office to 'celebrate' this technique so we can learn about it, special introductory pricing for attendees. It's the day after my partner leaves for Costa Rica.

I'm wondering if it might be fun to go, just for the heck of it, to mix things up, do something different. I don't think I'd ever really have my "problem areas" squished and frozen so that the dead fat cells can be eliminated from my body. It just might be interesting to listen, to meet other people, consider things from a different point of view, so to speak.

I happen to love me as I am, loose skin, wrinkles, chocolate addiction, and all. I get high on the new muscles I'm building, enjoy my growing culinary skills and ability to feel comfortable in all sorts of social situations. It's cool to stretch myself, and fun to consider the possibility of "sculpting" my body, even if I can't imagine ever really doing it. I may just stay in and play with Beau that evening.

We're looking at going to a Conversation Dinner at the Accupuncture Center my partner goes to; a cool concept that will stretch my social wings. Sitting one-on-one with a complete stranger and conversing about a chosen subject while eating some delicious meal (I've been to other gatherings there) will be a challenge for my rather introverted self. A challenge I should accept and cherish!

My, I'm rambling today; guess I really don't want to get up and cook. Hmmm, I am getting hungry, though.....
