Continued from this morning....

I threw away the last cookies this morning. I think that all that processed sugar and flour and saturated fat is shorting out my connections between my brain and my body! My energy level is down, and I'm not doing as well in Zumba class, which totally sucks. Not to mention I've been having headaches...

Last night my partner opened a box of See's candy from an employee, and I had four pieces! Tut tut. I've been exceeding my RDI for several days; not looking forward to weighing in. Oh well, it is the holidays, so I'm not going to kick myself, just shake it off and go back to eating more healthy choices.

I really hope that cutting out the caca foods will help; a part of me is concerned that my MS might be kicking up. I just have to take life as it comes, do the best I can for my health and well-being.

In Zumba today I kept laughing when I'd make mistakes, same as on Wednesday, and then feel great when I'd get all the moves right. Honestly, I do better at my worst than a lot of people do, so I should cut myself some slack.

Note to self; reaching your goal weight does not mean that you've acheived perfection (duh!); it's just another step on your journey. Enjoy life every step of the way.

Now I want to go read other people's journals & get out of my own head. With breaks to do laundry and prepare dinner (eventually).

Yep, we're all flawed individuals ~ even the slender folk :-) Best we can do is try to be sure we're wearing our good underwear when we fall down ;-0)

Thank you both! I just had a weird moment; took my size 10 pants out of the drier (comfy cords that I love) and I thought "These are mine? Really? They look so small!" It still hasn't sunk in, since I still have plenty of room for improvement, that I'm really this size. My partner returned with a sweatshirt that was too tight for daughter, and it fits me (OK, that's 'cause my boobs are, um, more empty than hers); I never in my wildest dreams thought I could wear something that she would if her girls weren't perkier than mine, LOL.
