Savaticus's Journal, 19 December 2012

Today Sharon and I went out and did a bit of shopping. I did something I haven’t been able to do in almost a decade, I bought clothing from a normal store. I know that doesn’t sound like a huge thing but OMG is it. Clothing from specialty stores for overweight people is over priced and generally (in my experience with Casual Male anyway) low quality. There is nothing worse than paying 50 or more for a pair of pants that rip unexpectedly in strange places the first or second time you wear them. Paying 50 plus for a single shirt that starts losing threads for no reason.

Anyway, we went to Kohls, who has some reasonable prices if only comparatively, and we both got some threads. Sharon learned that she is down to a size 6 in jeans and man is she ecstatic about that. I talked her into getting a pair of cords, man I love corduroy, so comfy. I am down to a whopping size 48 which I know sounds ultra massive to all the thin people out there but that is down from wearing 56. I know, WTFBBQ amirite? It is good to be getting thinner and my diet is kicking some ass for me.

It is major!! Good for YOU! You are SOOOO right about specialty stores; thank goodness they were there to cover our butts but it's great to no longer have to kiss theirs, isn't it!! Kohls is nice; when I lost weight the last time I was a ROSS addict ~ decent quality at near thrift store prices and they carry a lot of men's clothes too (just a suggestion). OK, I have to ask though .. I know WTF but what is BBQ?

Thank you all for your kind words! >> I know WTF but what is BBQ? It's a Bar-B-Q lol, it's an internet thing, people running around saying ROFL LOL LMAO WTFBBQ, the BBQ just gets added in as a non sequitur.
