Operation Treadmill Day Three

Walked 20 mins last night YAY but only 10 this morning - my back is hurting so it was slow and devoid any enthusiasm. Reminded me of day three of Operation Oatmeal when I had to force it. This is just the hump I have to get past to become addicted to it right? RIGHT? Just kidding. I'm doing better in the evening but don't want to rely on that being my only time for now until I get my habit formed. On the positive side my little dog is accepting my insanity and now curls up in her bed and snoozes... she's easier to train than mommy.

Wow, you are doing great!! I have a lovely elip machine that sits in the sunporch. It was put there so I could use it and watch the flower garden life. Alas....I do use the couch to watch the birds, but the poor elip machine just watches them alone. So cudos to you FullaBella, you're my hero!!!

when i walk on an incline for extended periods my lower back will sometimes hurt. i just have to stretch it out better before, and work on strengthening those muscles.

Awww ... RubieSue I'm no hero... just a fat old lady trying to change. I looked at those as my first equip acquisition but worried about my back issues and said 'treadmill... I can always walk'. When I get THIS habit in place I may get a cycle next for 'mornng'. I feel I'll do better on the treadmill in the evening. After a year I may add the Ellip. One day one bite on step at a time. If you don't want the Ellip send it to me....hahaha.

Thanks for the suggestion Jess. I read your journals and am in awe of your running - hoping to achieve your level some day!

Bella you are such an inspiration and make any of us think "I can do it".

Thank you Jaime and Jess. Yes, I'm waddling living proof that if I can do it anyone can. I've no marathon goals YET as, in the past week alone I've fallen off a sidewalk and off a treadmill - luckily a car and a wall broke my falls - but I do have a hoping goal to be able to run on my own treadmill (and survive it) by my birthday in May. My big goal right now is JUST DO IT DAILY.
