I think I've found the answer to weightloss. You have to get the diet fairy drunk. Yup.. get a lil wine in the ol girl and next thing you know the scale is moving again. It's either that or the fact that I'm a sleepy drinker and after a glass I'm ready to curl up on the nearest soft surface and snore. Pathetic but true. This is what happens when you combine wine with 6 months of not sleeping more than 5 hours at a time.

I'm waiting for the stall to come. I love the weight coming off but I've gotten to the point where I hold my breath when I step on the scale. I'm rechecking loses to make sure it doesn't go up. I'm beginning to think maybe the scale is broken but I can't say anything to hubby because he gives me the deathray stare and cookies appear on top of the microwave. The doctor put him on steroids for his joints and he is gaining little by little. If he just cut out soda or chips he would drop weight.... I can't say anything though. If I do I'm afraid I will wake up in the middle of the night with him stuffing an oreo down my throat.

I think I'm going to have to dig out the size ten pants I put upstairs. Maybe if I put on some pants that are a little tight instead of a little loose it will keep me from the cookie dough. Right now I'm on a quest to find the perfect low carb dessert before I start on the non-low carb family loves it crap... er.. cookies. Yeah that's it cookies.

If you find one let me know! How did your pumpkin thing come out at x-mas? I used a different sweetener and mine was really bitter (but I think it was the stweetener, wasn't as sweet as splenda). Worse case make cheese cake and call it a day. Save some wiggle room for lunch Friday! Then again we will be walking alot too! I was shocked the wine and extra carbs didn't do damage this week. No loss so far but no gain either so as I have said, this time of year I'll take that as a win!

My pumpkin thing is in a can.. still in the cabinet. :) I bought everything to make it then little man was crabby. Then I was tired. Then thanksgiving was over. I was going to ask you how yours went before I made it. lol Cheesecake could be a winner I wasn't even thinking of that. I can make some cheesecake bars so it's spread out and I feel guilty when I hit the half pan point.

I'll msg you the recipe I have made. Tried light cream, sour cream and ricotta cheese and it was ok but I'd never go fat free or anything. It's a bit lighter than a lot of the low carb ones. I know it's not natural but stick with splenda. I'm going to order one on line that fitness junkie recomended that she mixes with it but tuill then I'm going back to Splenda

Another good low carb dessert is sugar free jello. I like to mix in some low carb fruit, like blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries. Not sure how easy it will be to find berries this time of year, maybe frozen ones.

DFW I always love your journals. My diet fairy has a hollow leg though - one drink in that gal and I'll be up eating all night. Drunk, but eating. It's not a pretty sight. Glad you can knock yours out and off the back of the scale with a glass of wine.

Avocado pudding?!?! Hmmm.. sounds interesting. I've been going through low carb recipes and it's causing cravings. It doesn't help that today the caffeteria at work has recharge wednesdays. It should be called ice creams gonna go right to your thighs wednesday because all they have is sundeas and pretzels. Son of A! I'm currently drooling over low carb tiramisu.. now I only have to find coconut flour.

Lol. I have the same issue with my husband. Since I changed my diet, he's been slowly eating all the things alone that we used to eat together. Definitely having an effect. Can't say anything though. It just makes my husband get crabby and eat more.
