The number got me. I sailed right past 155 and I thought I was in the clear. Then.. It reached over and knocked me back down. This morning the scale yelled 155.0 at me. It could be the lack of the glass of wine that I've been adding to my nightly unwind. See.. I'm onto something with this glass of wine thing. The diet fairy sobered up and jumped back on my back. Crap!

Maybe I gained weight from looking though low carb desserts. Maybe this is a sign. It's yelling that I have no control... Unless I make a dessert that I can eat the entire pan I might as well forget it. I'm hopeless! Although.. the caramel cheesecake looks yummy! I have to make something for the foodganza that will happen at work on the 18th and 19th so this is the time to test. I can take a slice and feed the rest to unsuspecting co-workers. The only problem is the cheesecake will come to work with at least one slice missing. Maybe more... If I can sneak it into the conference room no one will know its mine. I can make it up on the 19th when I bring tiramasu with half the pan missing.

I think I just gained another lb. CRAP I think I lost my willpower and stepped on it.

I wouldn't worry. Mine jumped up from 133 to 135 in a day. Then it a couple days later it went to 134. Then a couple later (today) i woke up to 131. Muscles and water hun... that is all it is if you didn't have a secret binge behind the wagon. ;)

I think I gained just reading your journal. Ha ha ha. I'm going to take a vacation day tomorrow to bake cookies for coworkers and neighbors. It will be my biggest test ever. I'm hoping my momentum will get me through it! You can do this DFW! You are sooo there!

It's the holidays. If it's not the holiday food served, it's the emotional eating that eventually results from avoiding the holiday food. Just gotta make it until the end of the month and then we will be free and clear of this mess.

Dairyfarmerswife.. Don't panic and hold on tight! ;) It's the time of the year where it can be hard to stay on the wagon. If you slip up with a glass of wine and a piece of that cheesecake. Stop and think about the scale while endulging.. (Hey I might have to try that lol lol lol) I'm having a hard time not thinking about the dessert table on christmas day and how many days away is that?? 13!! So again, try to hang in there.. But please don't beat yourself up if it doesn't happen.. We all are fighting the fight. You are doing great! P.S.

I bet in two days you'll be asking 'where'd that extra weight go?' You're doing so well I'm sure it's just water weight.

I'll try new desserts before I take them to work, then I just cut them up and put them in a different container, and it looks like I meant to cut everyone a serving. I don't know if that would work for cheesecake, but it's worth a shot. I'm not losing at all right now, just the same 3 pounds up and down, but I'm down from last year, so I'm okay with it. You've been doing so well, just keep doing what you're doing and I'm sure the weight will come off. Drink that glass of wine tonight!!

I gain weight from looking at food too - I am sure there is a scientific explanation.
