My partner's evil stepson delivered his Christmas assortment of home made biscotti in awesome flavor combination; the double chocolate cranberry with white chocolate and crushed peppermint on top should be criminalized; it was that good. I had part of one with crystallized ginger, OMG. I've covered the tin and am ignoring it, but the intriguing flavor combos pop up in the back of my mind. Ginger macadamia?

Traveled to another gym today for my 6th Zumba class in a week; had an absolute blast! I'm getting new little wrinkles from grinning; bring 'em on!!!

Made some healthy chili for dinner yesterday, and today we made chili burger's with it; sliced up a corn muffin, topped it with a ground turkey breast patty, chili, and chopped onion; Yum!

Tired, but have had a good weekend.

Wow, those biscotti sound great! That is good with a hot cup of coffee or tea! Hmmm. Anyway, sometimes I am glad I dont have that big of a family social network out here, I can isolate and diet. Then I get lonely and eat, lol.

Love Love Love crystal ginger - am going to put a piece on a string and hang in front of the treadmill when I get it (like a carrot). Your reference to that flabor combination being criminalized made me reflect.. with govt focus the direction it's going that could actually become a reality some day.

PC & FB, you both made me laugh! I'm working on a recipe for whole wheat molasses-ginger cookies with crystallized ginger in them; a healthier version of favorite flavors. Then I enter it in my cookbook so I know how far I have to ride on my exercise bike to burn one off, lol. Yesterday I waked up on the elliptical almost long enough to burn off one of my peppermint bark cookies.:o) : posterchild66, I will get around to sending you that recipe.
