Another cold rainy day - but it is that time of year!

As for my progress - I did get in a little exercise last night before heading out to do some Christmas shopping. The prices may get cheaper later on but I figure "a gift in the hand is worth two in the bush" LOL. Was very surprised at how crowded the store was for a Wednesday night - am very glad I am starting early!

Back to work!

I agree on the early shopping. Lots of places are already putting out early sales and I for one like that! I need to use my elliptical today. Got some fluid to sweat out of my face so my makeup goes on better. LOL! Hugs!

Good job on the exercise, Buffy dear. What is with you people and Christmas preparations. I'm hyperventilating now. Have a great day.

Mom - So that is the secret to the young looking woman in your profile picture!

Heather - As for your question about Christmas - Did I mention that I have 11 Grandchildren and am on a budget?

Neptune - I use the computer to find different exercises to do. The ones last night were very simple but must have worked because I hurt

That is a good idea. I should stop looking for recipes and change to looking for exercises. LOL

YAY!!!! You got some exercise in! I agree that shopping now is a whole lot easier (is it ever really easy?) than going later. According to the financial experts they parade on all the talk shows, shopping now (or even last month) gets you just about the same bargains as shopping closer to Christmas. Plus, things are actually in stock in the sizes you want. Wow....11 grandchildren....I guess I should buy some stock in Toys-R-Us???? LOL!!

Great job on the exercising, dear BuffyBear! If I had to workout in the evening, I'm not sure I ever would. I'm lucky to only work part-time & for a relative (who doesn't dare fire me), so am able to work around my workout schedule. I'm jealous of your early start to the Christmas shopping (& your 11 grandchildren... maybe/hopefully some day but with 2 sons & no girlfriends, think I'll be waiting awhile!). I'm unfortunately one of those out there as late as Christmas Eve some years, but hope to do as much as I can online -- it works for me & keeps me sane! I was in the mall last weekend & it was packed already then too... holidays here we come!

Hey Buffy- it is good to get a jump on the shopping especially when you have 11 kids to buy for and probably more to do as well. Takes a bit of the pressure off(financial and panic that you won't find things they like) when you get started now and can spread it out over a few months. Well done fitting the exercise in and doing the shopping after a long day at the office. Hang in there it is nearly the weekend. :)

Ruhu - I've read on here "If it is important you'll find a way. If not, you'll find excuses." Think I'm running out of excuses.

Newmooney - I've learned he hard way - there is nothing worse than having to go Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve!

Sandy - I cannot compete with the Walking Queen but I forced myself out today for a brisk 15 minute walk. And when I think nobody is looking I've even taken to jogging a bit!

Bren - I agree - I'm all about lowering my stress level!

Yes Buffy, the key to good picture taking is make the subject matter blurry .... and of course, lots of makeup and coverup. :)
