A lovely sunshiny day after a few days of downpour; I love the changeable weather here in the Portland area! I went to the gym this morning & saw the guy that sits next to me at Portland Pilots soccer (we've all had the same season ticket seats for years) . He teased me when we checked in at the front desk, said when they call you by name you spend way too much time at the gym. I grinned, and told him I was thinking of putting a cot in the locker room, but I didn't think it would work. He came right back & said there was plenty of room in the men's locker room. We had several people laughing, especially us. It was great fun.

Silver Sneakers class went well; I'm adjusting to the heavier weights & stronger resistance tubing, my balance is good, and I was able to work hard. One of the women I'm friendly with came over & said "you're still losing weight". I told her yes, a little, but mostly just firming up. She said I was doing great, complimented me. Aw shucks! I just said "thank you".
