Another gorgeous day! I drove to the gym today for Zumba with one of my favorite instructors, but she didn't show up. Maybe she was stuck in the massive traffic back-up caused by the overturned truck (I heard it was carrying frozen fish). I almost stayed to try a new (to me) class, Total Body Pilates, but decided to do a little grocery shopping then do Zumba at home.

Hey, the Gina (instructor) that didn't show up today is the same Gina on my Wii Zumba 2 game; huh! She had said something about trying out some moves for her new DVD, but I hadn't really connected it all, though I'd heard she's a big part of the whole Zumba thing. Silly me!

The Wii (which has my weight, height, and tracks my moves with the remote attached to my hip by a belt) says I burned 569 calories in the hour I did. When I record 1 hour of fast step dance here, it credits me with having burned 389 calories. I wonder which is more accurate, and does it matter, lol.

I'm having trouble motivating myself to make the casserole I have planned for dinner; time for some medicinal chocolate to get me moving! OMG, I found a Roger's dark chocolate with peppermint bar that I brought back from Victoria in July in the pantry - chocolate Nirvana for me....
