The scale shows a gain this morning but I am sceptical because I did a good job this weekend. I am going to give it another day before I rethink my eating strategy from this weekend.

I felt really good after going to the gym yesterday. Today I am a bit sore (which means it's working, right?). I need to work on my posture. Seeing all the stooped old ladies in church this weekend made me think I better sit up straight while I still can.

Mondays are the hardest days to write a thankfulness list. Let's see, I am thankful to have a job. I am thankful for my current resolve to be strong in my WOE. I am thankful for my health. I don't even get winded when climbing a flight of stairs now.

Oh what a good idea... sitting up straighter. LOL! I am glad your weekend went so well and sometimes there is a little fluid retention after a workout day, but it will go away. Keep moving and eat less. Your graph looks great!

Posture is key. You don't want your back to freeze in a question mark shape. Don't worry, you may have put on muscle weight and that will in turn burn that fat even faster from your body.

Sore muscles means your muscles are retaining water to help them heal. This can show on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss or small loss. It will go away in a few days. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight.

I concur with Suzi...when I started working out, I didn't lose weight for a few weeks! However, my clothing got much looser, and I lost 2 inches in my waist during that time. Don't let it discourage you!
