This is how carbs can get outta hand: 740 calories in just that little bit of food!

Make the milk a coke and the bars a few slices of cheese and you have my typical midnight snack from 6 months ago lol. Followed by a handful of candy.

Yeah but there are more fat calories in that meal than carb calories. Poor carbs always getting beat up round here, lol! They are delicious, especially when mixed with fats but if you can learn to control that delicious power, you will feel invincible. :P

Used to have that but hard apple cider, skip the bowl and just eat 1/2 the bag of tortillas, add salsa/cheese/chicken, and at least 3 more chocolates in different flavors. NOT eating like that anymore, that's for sure! Also used to have stomach problems and 22 more lbs on me than I do now. 63 more lbs to go:)

I eat almost the whole basket of chips at the Mexican restaurant, one Horchata drink 24-36 oz. maybe 3000 calories in 30 minutes haha , it's why I love to eat at home.

#chips :) This is causing a 'carb binge' in me just looking at them :) But, wow you have a nice camera. I thought that was an advertisement. Did you miss you calling? Are you a professional photographer?

Diablo is right. Carbs mixed with fats are the devil, I make my own corn tortillas at home they are really healthy and you save calories and oils , they are not that good as chips though 😐

Lol your welcome Chris! Yes that was a snack. For lunch it would’ve been about 4oz of cheddar cheese and 2-3 handfuls of chips. Or for nachos I would’ve lined the plate with chips then covered with lots of cheese and any leftover beef or chicken that I had. I figured up a typical day for me and it was 2000-2200!! I gained 10# in 7 months on that. I will go back to those snacks but only after it’s ingrained that I cut something out before or after. The last time I attempted chips and cheese for a snack I allowed myself one serving of chips and 2oz of cheese. Was barely enough to take the edge of the hunger off :/. It was all I could do not to get more so I’m not where I need to be yet. As for restaurants, I eat the basket of chips with my kiddo and a small bowl of cheese dip between us. It’s my bad treat whenever we go. I would have it just as a meal and triple the amount but I’m told the cheese is so high in calories are server and the kitchen staff wouldn’t even guess as to the amount other than ‘a lot’ and ‘your daily amount of calories) lol. We used to eat there weekly. Now it’s every 4-8 weeks ;).

And on my stomach, it’s odd but I can eat way more of junk in one sitting than healthy food. I must digest it very quickly. Like as soon as I swallow lol.

My roommate needs to gain weight and he has no awareness of calories whatsoever. Like he will eat a half a cucumber as a snack, and think he has eaten. (I feel like growing up girl in the 80s, you just learn through osmosis. I can guess calories and fat grams with surprising accuracy. Him? No.) Imagine his surprise at what an actual serving of nuts is, and how many calories they have. I keep telling him to eat 3 meals a day, and add 1/2 c nuts. That would fatten him right up!

That’s how I did it on July 4th over 500 carbs mostly at supper. Chips and 7 layer bean dip, pineapple upside down cake and strawberry cheese cake among other things. Went back on my plan the next day and all was well.
