Got rain again last night - 3rd time this week. It is amazing how quickly all the plants have come back from the brink of death. Looks like it is going to be a beautiful day!
Got to hit the shower soon because we are going out to breakfast with friends. I doubt this "greasy spoon" diner has have much to offer (can always get scrambled eggs & coffee) but I am going so we can do something as a couple - the food is just a prop.
Right now, I have my friends and DH has his friends. Our "couples friends" all seemed to have moved or divorced or otherwise drifted in other directions. And I didn't realize this until I sat down to write this journal!
So this morning I am thankful for this simple breakfast with friends.

Same here our "couples friends" in Kansas is mainly one couple, we seem to have more "couples friends" in Arizona mainly because we are in a 55+ community and are all retired, where in Kansas many people still work. Enjoy your breakfast out !

Mom2Boxers - You are so right about the rain! I have stuff planted all over the yard and it has been a challenge keeping it alive. Besides, my garden is very picky - it prefers fresh rain water.

Love the rain, it is so green here with the last few days of rain just talked about it yesterday with DH and DS. Like you I have noticed our friends are doing the same, time moves on and things change. It is so true the saying Friends/people come into our lives for a Reason a Season and a Lifetime.

So glad you enjoyed the breakfast, sounds like you had a wonderful morning. My yard is loving the rain too, we are back to that lush green of early spring...smells good too!
