WOo Hoo - size 10 ! Great work. I guess PB and J won"t kill you, right? LOL
|
HCB - Thanks for that! I am really thrilled that I am starting to fit into some of my smaller clothes - but that didn't happen by eating PB&J! I know, tomorrow is another day.

I agree sometimes needs must and once in awhile won't have any long term effects :)

Tracy - I appreciate your understanding! BTW - I am only fitting into the "bigger" size 10's. Hope the sizing of the clothing industry in England is more consistent that it is here in the US.

Guess I never realized that sizes have "bigger" and "smaller".. LOL Yes I've noticed in some clothing I wear a size 16, but others size 14, so guess it's who makes the clothes ???

Notfast - Isn't it just so frustrating! One of the (many) reasons DH doesn't like to go shopping with me is because I have to try on clothes. When he finds what he wants he just grabs his size and checks out. Must be nice!

I guess the upside of the experience is that you experienced what eating it will do to how you feel, and the options you have for the rest of the day. Sometimes lived experiences are the most valuable for deep learning.

Unfortunately Buffy it is not - a few months back a store had sale on jeans - buy one and get one half price - so I thought great I can get a blue pair and a black pair - I could only find one pair that fitted me, after trying on 10 pairs - every single pair fitted differently even though they were supposed to be the same style and size!!! I also find that stores that generally cater to bigger sizes, have more generous sizes - it is a marketing ploy to make you feel better about yourself and buy more :)

Yeah Buffy. Size 10 is awesome. And yeah, I would have eaten the darned thing too. Then felt like crap for the rest of the day. But it was nice of him to do that for you. Even if he should have known not too.

Yduj57 - The learning experience is realizing that even after 2 years of this WOE my DH still does not get it - and apparently my communications skills are at fault!

Tracy - That would have been enough to send me nearest ice cream shop! Sorry you didn't get your second pair - hope another bargain comes your way ASAP!

SIZE 10????? WOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!! That is just wonderful news!!! You are doing great!!! I loved that you ate his sandwich too. It was sweet and you are even sweeter to have eaten it to spare his feelings. Not nuff of that sweet stuff! Back to business. ;)

Buffy - It's a New England favorite! (Fluff is made here in MA). Lots of places don't even have it. But it must be toasted...makes the peanut butter and fluff melt all yummy together!!!
