Shout out guys?? If you're throwing together an omelet for yourself with some cheese and stuff in it .. how many eggs do yo normally throw in? Just wondering what size of omelet you usually have .. keto answers would be great if any of you are about :)) Cheers x

when I eat eggs I generally just use 2.

Not keto, but i assume most of my omelets are. I use 1-2 eggs, depending on size.

2 eggs, 1 ounce of cheese, usually 1 tablespoon heavy cream to fatten it up and cook it in butter. :)

I enjoy veggie omelets. I use my favorite veggies, saute them in walnut oil, 3 scrambled eggs (or more when I want leftovers for the next day). I top w/swiss cheese, sometimes salsa.

I have used up to 1 doz egg whites only, no yolks. Mushrooms and green peppers. 1 whole green pepper, and up to 1 box mushrooms. I was gonna say no yolk, but then you might laugh.

Depends on if I am low on protein or protein and fat. I use the whole egg if both or just the white for protein. For 1 omelet I use about 6 eggs for an omelet with cream, cheese and meats, all cooked in butter.

i eat high fat usually 4 whole eggs!

Normally 2 eggs, plus other protein, ie. bacon, sausage, leftover steak

No yoke ... great guys thanks jaa that's good to know. Why would you guys not go for high fat? I thought non-saturated fat was alright for keto .... but I could be wrong?? Yeah I'm all for spicing it up onions, mushrooms, peppers, jalepnos, chilli flake, black pepper sometimes chorizo or salami.. depending :) Never tried the cream.. might have to look into that! I do add a big know of butter and cook in olive oil (you know for the heart <3)

2 to 3 eggs with a splash of cream, veggies and meat added depending on what's in the fridge. Sometimes I will do more eggs and make a frittata but that needs to be popped into the oven to make sure the top and center gets done.

I do go with high fat.....🙂, cook in lg quantity of olive oil....but I try to get my high fat with the olive oil mostly. Meat (grass fed local beef) in olive oil. Heck, I even add olive oil to a protein shake. Well, it does go down smoother. Keeps the inerds lubed up too. No yolk.

Just for the sake of sayin the word I rarely hear. CONSTIPATION. High protein (meat), can lead to this. Not a party 🤢, just for, olive oil works wonders in that arena. Or should I say sub-arena 😉

Hmmm, usually 2 eggs (the odd time 3), 1/3 cup shredded cheese, tablespoon of real bacon bits, sauteed onions and sometimes mushrooms. Seasoned with a little salt, pepper and Chipotle Tabasco...probably 335 calories.

I typically cook 3 strips thick bacon, chopped up, then scramble with 3 eggs plus 1/4 cup cheddar. So a 3 egg omelet for me.
