I've been a health food nerd all my life. In my childhood I was raised on healthy meals, including lots of vegetables. I find that with my friends who always struggled with their weight, if they cut carbs, they lose weight. I was skinny until I was 30 years old, then packed on about 25 lbs, in a short amount of time. I can't eat gluten, for a variety of reasons. If I stay off the gluten, I can maintain a healthy weight. I don't cut out complex carbs. I don't really count calories and I stay away from sweetened drinks. Hopefully, I'll be at my goal weight in a month. Hoping! Different meal plans work for different people. I am rooting for everyone on FS. You can do it!
