Still heading in the wrong direction although I’ve slowed the train...hope to gain back full control and turn it around completely. When faced with bad food choices I need to remember how much I love clothes shopping (finally!) after many years of dreading it...I need to remember the bloating and headaches that come with carbs and the all over blah feeling after eating them. Sounds like it shouldn’t be difficult at all to refuse, but it is! I had iron will power for 4 months then caved. I need to find that will power again and quickly.

It took over a month before my I started dropping again after the carnage of the 4 day Thanksgiving weekend, even though I went back to eating very healthy. It wasn't easy to continue to make the healthy food choices when I couldn't get the numbers to drop below 250, but around the end of December it finally started moving again. I viewed it as a really hard fall, and while I was able to pick myself back up, I did some damage and it took some time before I back to sprinting.

Are you measuring (taping) yourself to see if your various parts are "shrinking"? Sometimes when the scale "LIES" the tape tells the truth. Over the last month, I've gained 0.75 inches in my chest and dropped 0.5 inch from my waist... all the while, going through the kinesiology gym... and gaining weight.

Thanks guys for the great ideas and support. I know the weight gain so far isn’t significant (YET) but the lack of self control is what scares me. I’ve lost before and gained it all back plus some and don’t want to do that again. Sorry for the whining...I just fear returning to where I was.

We all struggle at time with what seem to be the same type issues. Hang in there, you will make it !

@Momma6224, that fear is real, I heard a report that only 1% of those who lose weight keep it off. This is forever, we have to keep going! You can do it!

You will, keep it up, we all go through that, I know I did.

You've have had awesome success .. Just wear those tight clothes a week and that might smack you into that motivated zone 👍😜 my motivation came when going keto, I don't need BP meds anymore! That was huge.
