Happy Weekend, my Fantastic Followers!
Thanks for the positive thoughts for my cat, Bodhi. He is recovering slowly and getting back to his usual routine. The vet is still trying to diagnose - but we just want symptom relief right now. He may have inflammatory bowel which impacts the pancreas - or just pancreatitis. Vet is concerned because he lost weight from a year ago; altough all his blood work came back normal.
It was a tough week for me. I was worried about Bodhi, and have a Spring cold and cough...I am proud because I still went to the gym four times; and stayed on my nutrition program! No STRESS eating!!!
Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle - Tom Venuto
Short Range Goals:
* Movement down on the Idiot Boxes while retaining muscle by year end 2018 * Bodyfat % reading with trainer in late MAY, 2018 * Drink at least 12-14 cups of fresh water daily - especially on gym days * Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting four to five days a week * Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload
Long Range Goals: 2018/2019 *Bodyfat at 26% or less (Current 29.8%) by end 2018/early 2019 *Longer range body fat goal is 22% - which at my age is great! *Maintain 160lbs staying under goal weight by end 2018/early 2019 *Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workouts

Is your cat black? I saw the name and did a double take. I like cats, but right now I am playing a computer game in which one of the intermediate goals is to kill a vampire named Bodhi...

@Moogiemynes! LOL, No, he is a Bengal cat - named Bodhi - is short for Bodhisattva...which is an enlightened being who stays here to help enlighten others. He is a therapy pet and a true little Bodhisattva!

Its hard when your pets get older and, like us, start having health problems. I've been fighting liver disease in my older dog and found going to a homemade dog food has really helped him.
