Happy Tuesday, my Best Buddies!

As usual, I have been tweaking things to see what happens. I have eaten a few more carbs over the last 10 days or so...the Idiot Boxes remain 3 pounds higher than the posted weight...very irritating! And see it is not really going to work for me right now.

Today, I decided to add a scoop of protein to my Bulletproof Coffee to experiment if it would change something during my workout this morning - nothing was different - no extra energy! I had my pre-workout drink as usual...but the morning protein made no difference in the immediate. So I learned it is better to have my protein shake at bedtime when my body renews itself while sleeping!

Current Goals: August 12th

*Idiot Boxes consistently weigh 158-159 by August 12th
*Bodyfat down 1% to 22.85% (last reading 23.85%)by August 12th
*Macros average: 65%-70% fat, 20-26% protein, 9% or less carbs
*NET carbs average 20 grams daily
*Lift heavier at gym – achieve new PR for weight or reps by August 12th
*Continue HIIT during cardio work
*Continue abdominal challenge at the gym – lose another inch: 32”
*Continue to drink at least one gallon of fresh water daily
*Add bicycle rides with DH whenever possible
*Wear the size 10 black jeans comfortably! (Debra!)

Long Range Goals: 2016

*Bodyfat at 20% or less
*Maintain Idiot Boxes around 150-155lbs staying under goal weight
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workouts

I did the protein shakes/ meals before bed and it was great bc it was like a little after dinner snack. Now we r on to black pants? Nice can't wait! Keep up the great work! 🏋

Female version of me. I know what you're going through, buddy. I'm tweaking (not twerking... I could have a few years ago) and fiddling around trying to get it to go a little lower. It's generally thought that 10% bf for a man is the equivalent of 20% for a woman. It's tough slogging trying to get to that point. You're doing awesome!

Thanks Bruce - My ultimate goal for BF is 20% or less...I think I can do it but I have to see more fat loss on the Idiot Boxes ... time to cut again!

I tend to debate. I'd love to have the abs truly exposed, but it could be they're not defined under these last few pounds, though I'm doing deadlifts, clean and press, squats and other exercises that demand abdominal stabilization. I'm just not sure that's enough for them to 'grow' properly. idk If I do nothing through the summer but stay in flexible diet mode and keep my 'weight' (bodyfat) where it is, I'll be fine with that. In fact, it may do me some good to do that. On the other hand....
