Happy New Week, my Buddies!

I did well this weekend getting outside in the most gorgeous "Land of Sky Blue Waters" weekend. The weather was cloudless, sunny with blue sky around 75 degrees - perfect!

My friend has two daughters who pitch on fast-pitch softball leagues so we often watch many of their games - it was fun.

Food was a little questionable - a Subway sandwich, corn on the cob from the farm, Pirate's Booty snack, etc. It increases carbs and calories...

SO, I have decided to go back to intermittent fasting 16:8 on my off work-out days. My schedule is different so my eating window is 12:00pm-8:00pm. On work-out days I have to have my protein shake before the gym or I will not make it!

BUT next week the 30 Day Challenge at
Orange Theory Fitness begins! There is great accountability because I have to print out my food logs and give them to my trainer!

I will get points for following ALL my pre-determined goals.

The word of the week is
ACCOUNTABILITY.

How do YOU stay accountable to yourself?

I am dedicated, determined, and diligent!

I have the book, "The Eight-Hour Diet." "The Alternate-Day Diet" recommends 16:8 as a change of pace.

I try to do 16:8 also, mindfully for if I feel I'm getting too hungry, I eat. For me, getting over-hungry can lead to over-eating. xoxox

I try to make sure that I log all my food and exercise. I also have a friend who is training with me for the half marathon and it helps.

Yep, another week. I'm going to think about what you've written here because I really don't have any accountability. I can go back and enter food 'afterward' and hope I didn't forget anything. I don't like entering it upfront because then I tend to eat more. I have to come up with a method. Good food for thought. Thank you.
