latinmami0511's Journal, 15 September 2016

Decided to follow a 500 Calorie daily diet due to my having gained a little more weight than I wanted to. After having a sleeve gastrectomy 4 years ago, I owe it to myself to maintain it. Although at 148 lbs I'm ok(I remember when I would die to weigh 150lbs again)alot of things are not fitting me and I can see the extra weight through my clothing. I started this diet on Tuesday at 147.6, today I am 144. I am following a diet plan that I found online and am using it as a guide.

Diet Calendar Entry for 15 September 2016:
309 kcal Fat: 4.45g | Prot: 25.50g | Carb: 53.44g.   Breakfast: Coffee with Skim Milk, Great Value Mandarin Oranges. Lunch: Tanimura & Antle Romaine Lettuce, Chicken of the Sea Chunk Light Tuna in Water (50% Less Sodium). Dinner: Golden Phoenix Tilapia Fillet. Snacks/Other: Old London Melba Snacks Sesame, Starbucks Skinny Caramel Macchiato (Tall). more...

What plan did you follow if you don't mind me asking .

This plan does say "Never try this menu while not on hgc drops," so I don't think they are recommending it for "everyday use." However, I also know the rules are different for people who have had weight loss surgery. So, if you aren't in exactly the same position as Latinmami0511, please do some checking and see if it's applicable for you before you try it.

I agree with Pandasmom, this nice woman writes she had sleeve gastrectomy 4 years ago and is trying to reduce slightly to regain her goal weight. Weight loss surgery effects people in different ways and her requirements are different than most. Be careful before jumping on her program.

@pandasmom @HCB Thank you, I should have maybe have clarified that I do have a different calorie intake requirement due to surgery and needed to find something (I'll say it again) as a guide to help me lose the regain. Most of portions recommended in the plan actually fill me up. That being said I think anyone can use it as a reference as to what to eat and adjust it according to their needs
