Morning
Well after a week of trying to figure out how to lose a lot of weight fast and keep it off I realized something!!! I tried the military diet, didn't stick with it, a cleanse, again didn't stick with it... Got to the point I figured I was meant to be fat for the rest of my life, then last night as I was laying awake again feeling sorry for myself and deciding I better go buy bigger jeans it hit me, that moment when it feels like you were just in the movie Groundhog day.... doing the same thing over and over again with the same results.. I did not gain this weight in one day, or even a week, no one else is to blame for my weight and the only person I am hurting if I don't record everything I eat is myself. I also realized that my kids, grand-kids, siblings and friends still love me at the weight I am, sometimes I am sure the don't like me because all I do is complain about my weight.
So I decided to take this one pound at a time and be happy with saying goodbye and letting go of every pound that I lose. I will no longer hide in my house and not enjoy life because I weigh what I do. I will decide everyday to be happy and eat healthy, if I mess up at one meal, so what, that will not ruin my day. I will not restrict what I can eat I will just restrict the amount of calories...
And lastly I will not live to eat... I will eat to live and be a healthy person in mind body and soul!!

Attitude and mindset are 90% of the battle. The rest of it is easy once you make the choice to change. All I wll say about dieting is that Atkins has worked for me. I still eat plenty and am not hungry or starving myself. The pounds are melting away and it is a lifestyle change I can live with for the duration. I hope you can find what works for you and ass long as you keep your mind where it needs to be you will succeed.
