We could be twins! I envy people who enjoy exercise. Sometimes I wonder if they really do!

After I exercise I feel good, its actually starting it that is tough. When you leave the house at 5am and then get home at 5:30pm to cook, eat and try to relax. Exercise is the last thing on my mind. Plus Tues and Thurs I get my kids and would rather spend time with them. I try to walk some at work, but I have so much paperwork that keeps me in front of the computer. I know, not great excuses, I just need to do it.

I used to hate exercise (except dancing). Now I love how I feel afterwards and I like the exercise I'm doing, which makes it easier to resist the couch. Trying finding fun activities to do with your kids and combine both :)

Just getting started and doing the exercise is often the hardest part. But you can find ways to do it even with a busy schedule. Your kids are important for sure, as are days off from exercise to recover. Make Tues. and Thurs. days off, find time in your schedule on the other days of the week to try and get at least 3 exercise sessions in...try to find ways of exercising that are passable if not enjoyable. A helpful suggestion. :)

Take a baby step - literally! Or find some activity you might like to do so it does not seem like punishment!

I know how that is! I'm trying to get out of my funk as well!

I hate exercise, but it is a necessary evil. When I start with some basic yoga sun salutations 1st thing in the morning, force my self to do 3 sets of 15 push ups, 15 squats and some abs….I feel like I have at least did something……takes 20min and a bonus….I am sipping my morning coffee at the same time. Also a work out buddy for the gym or a walk, helps with accountability….Good luck!
