Funny you ask this! I was doing some research yesterday on how to avoid sweet cravings. Last week I was all strict paleo. I didn't even crave sweets. When the weekend came, I saw the left over Easter chocolate. I just had one...which led to two.. etc. I found that if I don't have it around me...the cravings don't start. Yesterday I found chocolate in my desk...guess what? I ate it ALL I am deciding to not buy chocolate or anything I crave at all. that is one step. Another step I researched about is to avoid artificial sweeteners.. because the body will recognize the sweetness...but there is no calories so then the body craves more sweets in order to get energy/calories from the sweet food. I am still doing more research on this. I also found that once you crave something, try to make yourself busy...go for a walk. do a small mini workout. It says that working out suppresses hunger and cravings. Try some of this.

Thanks for all the helpful tips. I have gotten rid of all the chocolate and will NOT buy anymore. Will increase my H2O in take. My hardest challenge is reducing my carbs. I am going to give it my all!!!!

Drink lots of water and distract yourself. I even take a bite of a pickle. Boy, does that keep you from eating anything. Very helpful. Also, cut back on the carbs. You can reach your goal. :)
