Happy Thursday!
Rings are super tight this morning...ahhh, it would help if I took my BP med, just realized I haven't taken it since last Friday. That is not too smart on my part but I was so wrapped up with my spring cleaning I just overlooked my pill box. Looking forward to peeing all day as a result, but should drop a few h2o lbs by the weekend.

Babs...Babs... Babs... lol I can't even say anything because I just remembered that I hadn't taken my thyroid meds in a couple days. Funny how we over look the important things sometimes. Hopefully you have an office close to the bathroom so you don't have to sprint all day ;)

Babs, hope that once you get your meds in you the water retention goes away quickly. Do you have an alarm you can set to go off everyday to remind you, such as on your cell phone?

Retention is terrible, isn't it? If the BP med doesnt help quickly enough do you have any over the counter dieretics? I try to take 1 a day and am noticing a huge difference. Seriously.

Thanks gals, yes it was a stupid mistake on my part. I had taken off my rings while I was housecleaning and that is ususally the sign for me. They were just about falling off last week and then this morning, I could barely get them on, also my ankles are a bit squishy puffy. The meds should take care of it in a couple of days. Back to the routine of breakfast and suppertime to take the meds and supplements. I have looked back over my food journals so far this month and I see I am eating too far over my sodium goal of 1200-1300g/day. I guess I am still struggling with striking the right balance of macro/micro nutrients so that I can start losing consistently. Will keep at it and make some additional adjustments. I am feeling like my own worst enemy right now!

Aw, Babs, we all have times when we feel like our own worst enemy...it is so frustrating sometimes. You'll be back on track before you know it! Hugs!
